TETERBORO, NJ -- Two brothers who will be deploying on separate missions for the United States Marine Corps soon received a couple of giant surprises on Sunday as they received a hero's sendoff from the local community. The day's events were coordinated by A Hero's Welcome North Jersey.

The day began for Ethan and Noah with tickets to the New York Giants/Dallas Cowboys game, provided by Daikin Applied. After the game, they received a surprise escort from the New Jersey State Police and the Warriors' Watch Riders. The VIP convoy snaked through East Rutherford, Moonachie, Wood-Ridge, Hasbrouck Heights, and Teterboro en route to BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse where they were cheered by dozens of members of the community, area residents, former Marines, parents and children, members of Hasbrouck Heights Boy Scout Troop 17, and the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department and EMS, with flags and banners.

"Look at this!," the brothers said. "This is amazing!"

The brothers, along with their father Nathan, and brother, were treated to dinner compliments of BJ's.

"I was overwhelmed by the community support and all of the organizations that came out and had a hand in making this happen," said Rose Pagan, director of A Hero's Welcome North Jersey. "The father and boys were so grateful...they kept saying 'This is amazing!'"
