CEDAR GROVE, NJ – Cedar Grove police investigated the presence of two unknown men, wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts, at the front door of a residence on Eileen Drive on Thursday at around 9 p.m. on Thursday.

The resident of the home was alerted by a Ring Camera to the presence of the men. The subjects had their faces covered and were wearing gloves. On the video it appears that when the pair became aware of a surveillance camera system they fled the area on foot.

An extensive check of the area by Cedar Grove Police with assistance by officers from North Caldwell and Fairfield did not locate the suspects. The investigation is continuing, if anyone has any additional information or video please contact the Cedar Grove Police, 973-239-4100
