CEDAR GROVE, NJ - Cedar Grove police investigated multiple car burglaries that last week.

The first report was on Devonsthire Road at around 11 p.m. on Oct. 21. Ptl. Alan Rock responded and found that several unlocked vehicles had been entered and a cell phone was stolen.  

More car break-ins were reported on Oct. 23.  Police responded to addresses on Beverly Road, Franklin Street, and Devonshire Road, and three homes on Essex Road.  In all cases, the vehicles were left unlocked.  A laptop and a small amount of cash were taken from two of the vehicles.  The rest were rummaged through but nothing was taken.
