VERONA, NJ - A freshman at Verona High School came up with a great fundraising idea while completing a project for her graphic arts class. Sarah Knoetig's Hillbilly design will be featured on t-shirts and the profits from the sale of those shirts will benenfit Verona's first responders. Please see a message from Sarah's family below:
Hey Verona Family! Our daughter, Sarah, who is a 9th grader at VHS, came up with a fun design while completing an assignment in her graphic design class, which we think really captures the Verona Hillbilly spirit. At the suggestion of friends & family (thank you Pam Priscoe) we teamed up with TwoGuysTees to put it on a t-shirt. TwoGuysTees wholeheartedly agreed, and we are so pleased to say that 100% of the proceeds from this sale will be donated directly to Verona's Police, EMS, and Fire Departments! The store will be open for two weeks. A local pick-up/delivery option will be available and we included a shipping option for out of town folks.
The way this town has come together to support local businesses and first-responders has been truly inspiring. We really are #veronastrong
