VERONA, NJ - The Verona Police Department reached out via social media on Saturday to educate residents on the best source of accurate information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Posting on its Facebook page, the VPD noted that FEMA maintains a rumor control page which can help residents distinguish between rumors and facts.

The post stated: Rumors can easily circulate within communities during a crisis, stay informed, and please get your information from credible sources.
