VERONA, NJ - Verona will hold its National Night Out celebration on Aug. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Ave. Verona is focusing on spotlighting all emergency services, and the celebration will feature demonstrations and exhibitions from Verona’s Police, Fire and Rescue Departments. In addition, the US Army, a Police K-9 unit, Essex County Sheriff’s office, the State Police, a Medevac Helicopter and Backpacks For Life will all be present. Demonstrations will include a vehicle extrication, CPR, all vehicles and equipment, live responses and much more!
There will be tons of other family friendly activities, including children's inflatables and games, food trucks, obstacle courses and a “Dunk a Cop” activity. Please bring the whole family for a fun night while supporting Verona’s emergency service personnel.  
Indoor activities will still be available in the case of rain.
