WAYNE, NJ — The Wayne Police Department has been investigating an Invasion of Privacy case and is seeking the help of the public to identify the suspect.

On August 14, a woman was in a stall in the Macy's restroom when someone reached under the partition between the stalls and took a picture of her with a cellphone. The female victim reported to Wayne Police Officers that she shouted in surprise: "What are you doing?" She then went to the stall and knocked. A male exited, waving his hands in the air and ran from the restroom, through the department store.  The victim gave chase, until the suspect went down an escalator the wrong way then exited out into the parking lot.

According to Wayne Detective Captain Dan Daly, a witness saw the suspect get into a white sedan and flee the scene.
