NEWARK, NJ - The Cedar Grove Panthers girls basketball team defeated Barringer, 53-21, in Newark on Saturday.

A true team effort, the Panthers took charge fromt the start and never looked back.  Chloe Weinstein tallied five points, five assists, and three rebounds in the win.  Lexi Scivetti added nine points and eight rebounds while Mia Nardiello had eight points and nine boards for Cedar Grove.

Jessie Green totaled seven points, two assists and four steals and Ryan Cannataro added eight points, seven rebounds and three steals for the Panthers.  Danielle Paradiso tallied eight points, four rebounds and two assists for Cedar Grove and Molly Bauer added in four points, two assists and three steals.

The win improves the Pantehrs to 5-3 for the season.  They host Golda Och on Monday at 4 p.m.
