CEDAR GROVE, NJ - The Cedar Grove Panthers made it three wins in a row by defeatin Hasbrouck Heights, 2-1, on Friday at home.  

The Panthers took the first set of the match 25-17.  Hasbrouck Heights took the second 31-29.  The Panthers took the third set 25-17 to clinch the win.

Jenna Vega led for the Panthers with 20 service points, 15 kills, two digs, two aces, one block and one assist.  Emily Lynch tallied 27 assists, seven service points and two aces, while Alyssa Coletta delivered 20 service points, 11 digs, one ace, one kill, and one assist.  Brittney Taylor and Molly Bauer each added 11 service points for the Panthers.  Bauer also had 10 digs and two kills and Taylor had eight kills, three blocks and one dig.

The win improves the Panthers to 8-12 overall.  They travel to Livingston on Saturday at 2 p.m. for the first round of the Essex County Tournament.
