VERONA, NJ - The Verona Hillbillies volleyball team is on a roll, winning its first three games of the season in dominant fashion.

Verona opened the season at home against Mt.St.Dominic on Wednesday winning in two sets, 25-17 and 25-19.  Kelly Waterman led for Verona with 24 assists, five service points and two aces, while Jessie Loudon had 12 digs, two assists and one service point.

The Hillbillies traveled to Mountain Lakes on Thursday again winning in two sets, 25-10 and 25-11.  Megan Meehan led for Verona with 22 service points and 10 aces, while Waterman delivered 17 assists, 5 service points, two aces and one kill.

To round out the week, Verona traveled to Montclair Kimberly Academy winning in two sets 25-13 and 25-17.  Waterman delivered 28 assists, seven service points, six digs, three aces, three kills and one block.  Meehan had 12 service points, six kills, four digs and four aces.

Verona is 3-0 for the season.  They host Livingston at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
