ROSELLE, NJ - Zach Gold delivered a hat trick to help the Verona-Glen Ridge ice hockey team come from behind to defeat Gov. Livinston 5-2 in Roselle on Monday.  

After a scoreless first period, Gov. Livingston struck first scoring two goals in the second to VGR's one.  However, Verona-Glen Ridge came on strong in the third, scoring four goals to take the lead and ultimately win the game.

Rowan Brennan had one goal and one assist in the win, Will Benson tallied a goal and Alec Vecchione, Chandler Otterbein and Jeff Egan each added an assist.

Chris Kostas had seven saves for Veroan-Glen Ridge.

The win improves the team to 2-1 for the season.  They host Millburn at Codey Arena at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
