WARREN, NJ - Warren Township Schools, all sending districts to Watchung Hills Regional High School and WHRHS will have a 2-hour delayed opening, March 22, 2018, due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. North Plainfield schools have also called for a delayed opening.
In Green Brook, GBEAF Before Care Program is CANCELED and IEF concert is cancelled and will be on Friday for all parents. In Warren, AM preschool is cancelled. Conditions will be monitored overnight and into the early morning hours. Any further changes to operating status will be communicated in the morning.
The Warren Township OEM is reminding residents to continue to STAY OFF THE ROADWAYS as they have become extremely hazardous. Snow is expected to fall at increased rates (1”-3” per hour) tonight, possibly leading to limited visibility and “white out” conditions.
Hillcrest Rd. south of Route 78 is closed and additional road closures in our area are imminent. Please clear your driveway aprons of any snow and do not park vehicles on the roadways in order to allow Department of Public Works crews to clear the roads.
