BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Special Olympics of New Jersey held its annual track and field event May 6 at Basilone Field at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School.

With lots of people taking part in the event, 24 athletes were from BRHS, and among the volunteers were many from the high school's PE Partners, Key Club and National Honor Society.

Athletes prepared for the event for about six weeks, and took part in a pep rally at the high school the day before, for students to meet the athletes and cheer on their classmates.
