BELMAR/LAKE COMO, NJ — An off-shore storm will bring rain, strong winds and moderate flooding along the Jersey Shore beginning this evening, according to the National Weather Service.
A coastal flood warning that covers Monmouth, Ocean, southeastern Burlington and Middlesex Counties will remain in effect through 5 p.m. tomorrow, November 18.
The potential for moderate flooding along the coast will be at high tide, which in Belmar will be at 10:59 p.m. today and at 11:05 a.m. tomorrow.
Gale force winds will gust up to 35 knots on the Atlantic coastal waters of New Jersey, with waves building to 7 to 12 feet, according to the service.
