Warren, NJ - The excitement has been building and the students patiently waiting for  Friday, Oct.18 when Central School's gaga pit opened for play.

Students and teachers assembled at 11 a.m to cut the ribbon before recess began. Principal Janet Milita thanked the fifth grade class for their work proposing the idea, the PTO for funding and the Yannotta family for the donation of the base.

The base for the gaga pit was generously provided by the Yannotta family's Grant Construction Associates, Inc. Anthony Yannotta said in part," I feel it's important for others to see, especially children, that a simple act of kindness can be very powerful, and have a positive effect on those it touches. As each learn to do the same, and lead by example, soon the worries of our future will become yesterdays and then move on to be known as simply our past."
