WARREN, NJ — Monday was the final day to file a petition to run for seats on the local boards of education. 

According to the Somerset County Clerk’s office, four candidates have filed for three seats on the Warren Township Board of Education — incumbents Desiree DeNourie and Kathy Helewa and newcomers Paige L. Albano and Andrea Freijomil.

At Watchung Hills Regional High School, one Warren candidate and one Watchung candidate, incumbants Gregory Przybylski and Barry Hunsinger have filed for the open one- three year seats for their respective towns.

The election will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
