One man’s junk is another man’s treasure, the old adage goes. Wondering whether the antique or collectible you’ve been keeping in your attic is really treasure in hiding? Bring the item with you to SCLSNJ’s Warren Township Library branch’s Antiques and Collectibles Appraisal program this Saturday, September 17 at 2 p.m. to find out its value.

Certified Antiques and Estate appraiser Alan G. Snyder will conduct an open appraisal of items brought by attendees, as well as share his insight on the trends and state of the collectibles and antiques market today.

Whether you discovered your item at a yard sale or inherited it from family or friends, you’re welcome to bring it to the appraisal, from artwork to diningware, and everything in between. Attendees are simply asked to limit themselves to one or two items only to allow for all items to be appraised.

Alan has been appraising antiques since 1979 and owns and operates Alan G. Snyder & Daughter - Certified Antique & Estate Appraisers in Watchung, NJ.

Attendance is limited and registration is required. Access the Library's calendar here to register, for more information, and to see additional programs at SCLSNJ's Warren Township Library branch this fall.
