WARREN, NJ – The rain has started and the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm and flood watch for Somerset County and the region on Wednesday. 

“* At 436 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over White House Station, or 9 miles northwest of Somerville, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

“Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.”
