WARREN, NJ - In order to show appreciation for local police, firefighters, and emergency medical responders such as paramedics and emergency medical technicians working on New Year's Eve, some residents have organized a thank you dinner.
Residents interested in treating Warren's first responders to a warm meal on the last evening of 2014, may do by contributing in the designated box at Ciros in Warren by 10 a.m. on Tuesday. All monetary contributions will be used to purchase the food which will be prepared fresh and delivered by Ciros.
Email email@example.com with any questions.
Nationally, a grass roots movement to have Congress set aside a national day of recognition each year on September 27 for first responders in the fire, police and medical professions has been taking hold.
