WARREN, NJ - The theft of $4,100 worth of jewelry and a small safe containing about $3,000 in cash was reported on Westwood Court on Saturday, Dec. 28.
Warren Township Police responded to a central alarm notification at the home at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, and discovered that an unknown person or persons apparently had forcibly entered the home through the front door and removed jewelry from the master bedroom, as well as the small safe containing the cash, said Police Lt. William Keane.
According to the police report, Bernards Township police and the Union County K-9 unit also responded to assist in the investigation.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the statement issued Monday by Keane.
