WARREN, NJ - As Americans are living longer, the cost of health and custodial care continues to rise at exponential rates. Long-Term Care Insurance may be something you wish to add to your Retirement Portfolio.
According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Long-Term Care Insurance, unlike traditional health insurance, is designed to cover long-term services, including personal and custodial care in a variety of settings such as your home, a community organization, assisted living facility or nursing home.
Long-Term Care Insurance reimburses policyholders a daily amount for services to assist them with activities of daily living including, dressing, bathing and eating. A policyholder can select a range of benefit and care options that allow you to get the services you need, where you need them.
Kevin Lynch from the Society for Financial Awareness and American Prosperity Group of Hillsborough will be at the SCLSNJ Warren Township Library branch on Monday, March 30 at 7p.m. to offer a free program on Long-Term Care Insurance.
Kevin will provide answers to the following questions:
* What Is Long-Term Care Insurance?
* Who pays for “Extended Care”?
* Who may need “Extended Care” or “Long Term Care” insurance?
* What about Medicaid or Medicare?
If you wish to register for this program or require additional information, visit SCLSNJ.org or call the Warren Township branch at 908-754-5554 ext 32.
