Started in 2012, DNAW is an initiative created by the National Diaper Bank Network to bring national attention and mobilize efforts to end diaper need. Diaper need, experienced by one-in-three families in the United States, is the challenge to provide babies with an adequate supply of clean, dry diapers. Moms Helping Moms Executive Director Bridget Cutler states, “Chances are we all know someone, or have been the person, who has or will experience the struggle to afford diapers. Raising children is hard enough without having to worry about whether you have enough clean diapers. Moms Helping Moms is here to help parents and raise awareness about the critical role that diapers play in the health and well-being of families.”

Founded in 2011, Moms Helping Moms provides low–income children with essentials like diapers, wipes, clothes, shoes, strollers and more. Each year, Moms Helping Moms distributes more than 300,000 items to local families throughout New Jersey. To learn more, or to donate, please visit .
