WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills Regional High School ranks among the top high schools in New Jersey and in the nation, according to rankings published by Newsweek Magazine's  “500 Best Schools in America” ranking. 

New Jersey had 56 schools that made the list and Watchung Hills was the 30th highest ranked school in New Jersey, coming in as the 142nd best school in the country.

The ranking is based on student achievement on SAT and AP tests as well as graduation and college enrollment rates. Watchung Hills  jumped up 70 spots in the nation’s rankings compared to last year, from 212 in 2014 to 142 in 2015.
