WASHINGTON, D.C. -  Nicole Jaeckel of Warren has completed an internship in the Capitol Hill office of Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07), Lance announced on Monday.

 

“Nicole was a fine addition to my Washington office this spring,” said Lance.  “She performed her tasks with great professionalism and should be commended for her commitment to public service.  During her fast-paced couple of months on Capitol Hill Nicole served the needs of the people of the Seventh Congressional District with distinction.  She was a joy to have as a colleague and I wish her every success as she continues her undergraduate studies.”

 

Interns in Lance’s Washington office perform a variety of duties, including attending briefings and writing reports for staff, facilitating and guiding tours of the U.S. Capitol for visiting residents, assisting in research projects and drafting constituent correspondence.

“I really enjoyed my time interning for Congressman Lance,” said Jaeckel.  “It gave me valuable experiences and opportunities both working with constituents and observing daily events on the Hill.”

 

Jaeckel graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s Academy and is a rising Senior at George Washington University.

 

During his tenure in Congress Lance’s three offices have hosted over 400 constituent interns.
