WARREN, NJ - Nine Watchung Hills Regional High School athletes who upgraded their status from recruits to official signees to the college/university of their choice were recognized at the school on Monday surrounded by their families and coaches.
“Congratulations to our 9 Seniors who were recognized today for signing their National Letter of Intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level, “ said WHRHS Director of Athletics Chris Van Vliet. “We are very proud of you, and wish you the best in the next chapter of your lives. Congratulations as well to all of the coaches and parents who were able to join us today for such a special event. Go Warriors!”

Julia Cunningham - Princeton University
Julia Burton- West Chester
Katelyn Carroll- Radford University

Jonathan Taub- Rutgers University
According to the National Letter of Intent website, the NLI only apply to prospective student-athletes attending full-time at a four-year college or university for the first time. The NLI is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an NLI member institution whereas the prospective student-athlete agrees to attend the institution full-time for one academic year (two semesters or three quarters). In return, the institution agrees to provide athletics financial aid for one academic year (two semesters or three quarters).
