WARREN, NJ - A bicyclist was hit by a car on Stirling Road in Warren on Tuesday night, police said. 

John Hughes, 64, of North Plainfield was struck while riding his bicycle by a vehicle driven by Jose Arias, 28, of Plainfield in front of 108 Stirling Road at approximately 6:30 p.m., according to Warren police.

Arias was issued summonses for careless driving and failure to maintain lane and Hughes was transported to Morristown Medical Center with various injuries, police said.
