WARREN, NJ - The Warren Township Board of Education has one vacancy, effective November 5, 2016 following the resignation of Kathy Helewa.
Instructions for qualified candidates who are interested in applying are:
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:12-15, notice is hereby given that the Warren Township Board of Education is accepting applications from qualified candidates to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education.
To become a member of a local board of education in New Jersey you must –
Be able to read and write
Hold U.S. citizenship and one year’s residency in the school district
Have no interest in any contract with, or claim against, the board
Not hold office as mayor or member of the municipal governing body
Be registered to vote and not be disqualified as a voter under N.J.S.A.
Interested parties are requested to submit a resume (including an email address) and cover letter that outlines the reasons for wanting to be on the Board and the qualifications for being selected, to:

Documents may also be hand delivered to the Board Office, address above, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on regular school days.
Requested documents must be received by 4:00 PM on Dec. 5, 2016.
Candidates for the vacancy will be interviewed at the Board of Education meeting to be held at 6:30 P.M. on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 in the library of the Warren Township Middle School. 100 Old Stirling Road, Warren.
