Save the date, Sunday, December 8 from 2-4 p.m.

The Holiday Walk is back.

The event, which is open to the public and free to all attendees, will commence at 2 p.m. at the Pheasant Run Plaza where Santa Claus will land. The Watchung Hills High School Marching band will then lead Santa, escorted by the Washington Valley Fire Department, on a parade through the KINGS Plaza where several merchants will serve refreshments, and then into the Corner Village where Santa will greet the children and take photographs at Verizon. Children are encouraged to bring a letter to Santa, which will be mailed by the Recreation Department with assistance from their elves.
