WARREN, NJ - By week's end, all Warren Township students will have returned to school. Some important dates to start the 2017-18 school year and plan for the first week of school are:
Walk Throughs and Orientation
For all K-5 students and family members, a Walk Through where students can walk through the building, meet their teachers, and see their classrooms will take place in the elementary schools on Wednesday, Sept. 6 from 2:00 until 2:30 PM.
At Warren Middle School, sixth grade orientation will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept.6. The 7th and 8th grade walk through will follow at 1 p.m.
At Watchung Hills, incoming freshman will have an opportunity to find their classrooms and meet their teachers on Wednesday, September 6 from 7:30 – 10:30 am. Bus transportation will be provided.
The freshmen will follow an abbreviated eight-period schedule and peer leaders and teachers will be in the hallways to assist with directions.
The first day of school at all Warren elementary schools, Warren Middle School and Watchung Hills Regional High School is Thursday, Sept. 7. The first day of school is a full day for K-8 students and a half-day for Watchung Hills students who will follow an abbreviated eight-period schedule.

Warren Middle School will hold 6th grade Back to School night on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept.19 - ALT School
Wednesday, Sept. 27 Mt. Horeb School 6:15-7:40 p.m.
