/WARREN, NJ - In a few short weeks, Warren Township students will be returning to school. Some important dates to start the 2018-19 school year and plan for the first week of school are:
Teacher assignments and bus information will go out to Warren Township School District students on Monday, Aug. 27. Ordering for myFoodDays at Warren Middle School is now open. Orders and payments must be completed by end of day on 8/31.
Walk Throughs and Orientation
For all K-5 students and family members, a Walk Through where students can walk through the building, meet their teachers, and see their classrooms will take place in the elementary schools on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
At Warren Middle School, sixth grade orientation will be held on Wednesday, Sept.5. 9:30-10:30 a.m.
At Watchung Hills, incoming freshman will have an opportunity to find their classrooms and meet their teachers on Wednesday, September 5 from 7:30 – 10:30 am. Bus transportation will be provided.
The freshmen will follow an abbreviated eight-period schedule and peer leaders and teachers will be in the hallways to assist with directions.
The first day of school at all Warren elementary schools, Warren Middle School and Watchung Hills Regional High School is Thursday, Sept. 6. The first day of school is a full day for K-8 students and for Watchung Hills students who will follow an abbreviated eight-period schedule. WHRHS will begin a Day 1 schedule on Friday, Sept. 7.
All students will have two days off in September with schools closed on Sept. 10 for Rosh Hashanah and Sept. 19 for Yom Kippur.

Warren Middle School will hold grade 8 Back to School night on Tuesday, Sept. 25 and 6th grade and 7th grade Back to School night on Wednesday, Sept. 26

WHRHS Freshman/New Parents/Students:
The WHRHS forms Technology Agreement and 1:1 Acceptable Use Agreement (for Chromebooks) have been uploaded to both the parent and student Parent Access accounts. Both are required and must be acknowledged before any other tab can be accessed by either party and before Chromebook pickup can occur.
All WHRHS Parents:
Two new forms were published to Guardian 1 parent accounts. These forms must be completed annually. Also, bus information for all students, except Green Brook residents, is available in Parent Access. Green Brook students will be receiving their bus information from the Green Brook BOE.
