WARREN, NJ -  Last Friday, Schoolhouse Rock Live! visited Central School. The professional touring theater company Surflight -To -Go from the Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven presented  two performances to delighted students.
Schoolhouse Rock was an Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, science and politics through clever songs.
Schoolhouse Rock Live! is instructing a whole new generation to “Unpack Your Adjectives” and “Do The Circulation."
Tom, a school teacher nervous about his first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV. Characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such infectious Schoolhouse Rock songs as “Just A Bill,” “Interplanet  Janet" and “Conjunction Junction.”

The entertaining performance had  students singing along realizing that,"school can be fun."
