WARREN, NJ - The rumbling has started and a severe thunderstorm warning and flood watch are in effect in our greater area throughout the evening the National Weather Service warns until 10 p.m. Saturday.

Do not travel through water covered roadways. If you encounter flooding, “Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life,” the service warned. “Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely."

"Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms moving into the area from the west. Between one and two inches of rain can be expected into this evening...some of this falling in a short period of time causing poor drainage and roadway flooding," the service said.
