SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ - The latest National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 10pm Friday in the area. A flood advisory is in effect until 5:45 p.m.. Radar has indicated 60 mph wind gusts. Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible. 

The forecast indicates that some storms could be severe with damaging winds and heavy rains.

The rain will continue through Friday evening and early Saturday with skies clearing up later on Saturday and continue through Monday. Temperatures will remain in the mid 80s Saturday, with a chance of showers. Temperatures are expected to drop to 68 degrees Saturday night.
