WARREN, NJ — A car theft, a home burglary with forced entry and a hit and run were all reported within the past few days, Warren police say.
After responding to an alarm at a Stonewood Court home just after 8 p.m. on Friday, April 14, police found the front door was forced open and the master bedroom was rummaged through. Nothing appears to be missing at this time.
A motor vehicle theft was reported at the Somerset Hills Hotel located on Liberty Corner Road. The vehicle was stolen between 4:30 p.m. on April 15 and 10 a.m. on April 16.
On Monday, a hit and run motor vehicle crash was reported on Mountain Avenue. A vehicle struck a utility pole and a speed limit sign but the driver fled the scene before police arrived.
And five motor vehicle crashes were reported on Mountain Boulevard, King George Road, Hillcrest Road, Stirling Road and Washington Valley Road. No injuries were reported.
