Five months ago I started my candidacy for Watchung Hills Regional High School Board of Education as a newcomer to elected office and a relatively unknown entity in our community. On November 5, the campaign ended with a resounding victory, not only for me, but also for the residents of Warren and the students we serve. For this I say "THANK YOU!"
I am VERY grateful to everyone who helped spread my message across Warren. I am grateful for the many emails sent and calls made. I am grateful for the support, advice and guidance of many of our township, community and school leaders. The broad support I have received from our community, as demonstrated by the election night totals, is very humbling. It is indeed an honor to have earned your trust.
With the election over... now the real work begins!
The issues I campaigned on will be the focus of my first term on the WHRHS Board of Education: a high quality, well-rounded education for EVERY student; fiscal responsibility, accountability and integrity; and open communication and transparency.
This is the proven leadership the residents of Warren have chosen to send to Watchung Hills.
As I prepare to take office I will be spending a great deal of time doing my homework… immersing myself in the issues of the day. I will also be planning meetings with various constituent groups to gain a deeper understanding of the strengths of our district and the areas we may need to improve.
As part of this process I welcome your input. I invite you to call, email or stop me at the store to share your thoughts, concerns or ideas.
We will only elevate Watchung Hills to meet its' full potential by working together to make a positive difference for our community.
THANK YOU for your support!
