WARREN, NJ - Wagner Farm Arboretum will be providing the Warren community with its only local farmers’ market every Thursday through Oct. 10 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“We can promote organic produce, which we grow in our community garden and we have other locally made goods,” said Suzanne Smith, the president of Wagner Farms Arboretum.
Nine venders were present for the first day of the Farmers’ Market, and two more have been added starting next week.
Products range from fresh meats and dairy, which is provided by a local cattle and poultry farmer, fresh veggies and breads and prepared Italian specialties. Wagner Farm Arboretum even sells plants that they grow on site.
Wagner Farm Arboretum is looking for more venders to participate in the weekly Farmers’ Market. All are welcome, but the arboretum is specifically looking for a cheese vender, honey venders and oil vender.
