WARREN, NJ - The Ballers won the inaugural Warren men’s 40 and over softball season with a 32-10 victory in the finals over the Nationals this weekend.  
 
After finishing 13-5 for the season, the Ballers secured first place and beat the Warren 40’s in the  semi- finals.  The Ballers were led by Jake Bryant, Rob Wagner and Arlen Fish at the plate.  Colin Postal Joe Palmieri of the 40s also had multiple hits. 
 
The Nationals beat the Pulled Hammys in the other Semifinal.   Mark Panas and Steve Halper sparked the nationals to the win. Rich Morris, Eddie Shell and Tom Aschoff provided offense for the Hammys but it was not enough.
 
In the finals, the Ballers offense was in high gear with Marc Pucci, Mike Suske and Phil Keenan driving in runs while defensive help was provided by Gerard Pento and  Rich Mistichelli.  Eric Herz had 3 hits for the Nationals.
