ST.-DENIS, FRANCE — Portugal upset France in the final of the European Championships on Sunday to claim its first major soccer tournament trophy and Warren's fans were glued to the game. Substitute Eder (Éderzito António Macedo Lopes) scored the goal in the second overtime period.

Some watched at the Iberia Tavern and hundreds packed the Ironbound streets to celebrate, and some watched at home in Warren. And Portugal's flag was seen all around Warren.

Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo was taken off on a stretcher with an injured left knee in the 24th minute. But Portugal claimed victory in the second half of extra time, even without its captain Ronaldo.
