WARREN, NJ - Mount Horeb School first graders were given a reading challenge. Students were asked to read for 100 minutes over the winter break. During that time, they were also able to participate in fun activities such as reading with a grandparent, reading a recipe, reading an ebook, reading in their pajamas and more.
To celebrate the success of their accomplishments over break, the entire school wore their pajamas and school spirit shirts on Friday, January 9. The day ended with a pajama party for the first graders, complete with popcorn and hot cocoa. A special thank you to their teachers, for constant support and encouragement: Rebecca Maag, Carla Stewart, Denise Kennedy, Catherine Maguire and Karen Schlosser.
