WARREN, NJ - The National French Contest Le Grand Concours is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French celebrating 80 years in 2015.
On March 13 and March 17, 29 eighth graders and 24 seventh graders from Warren Middle School competed.
With the support of teachers Kristen Boni and Robin Savage, Warren Middle School students have been participating since 2009.
According to the Le Grand Concours website, students of French in grades 1-12, in all 50 states and abroad, take a written test and compete against students with similar educational background for prizes. The exam covers vocabulary, grammar and culture.
