WARREN, NJ - The Warren Township Rescue Squad is looking for volunteers between the ages of 18 to 70 who are interested in learning about becoming an EMT and joining the Squad.

Volunteers cover the township from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday. The squad provides FREE clothing , equipment and training. The only initial training which is required for prospective new members is a 4 hour CPR class for Healthcare providers. After that, a new " trainee" is placed on a crew and  can experience  "ride-alongs" , observe the EMTs and help out as requested.

Trainees are then given 6 months to decide if they want to complete the full EMT course training . Members of the squad come from all walks of life. There are nurses, engineers, homemakers,  medical student, retirees, attorneys, ,truck drivers and many others who have joined. You only need a big heart  and the desire to help others in need.
