WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills Regional High School Sophomore Matthew Nunes took it upon himself to be a part of the solution during the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, Nunes and his team of volunteers have donated 2,000 face shields and raised over $6,000 to support the cause.

Nunes said,”  I would like to thank all of Warren Township for their continuous support and we won’t stop making shields until this is over.”

Nunes designed and manufactured protective face shields using his 3D printer and has donated those shields to local hospitals, doctors, nurses and Warren Police Department. After a call for help and support, Nunes added a team of volunteers, and purchased additional 3-D printers.
