WARREN, NJ - Inica Kotasthane was awarded first place in the Fire Prevention Poster Contest, "Don't Wait - Check the Date" in Somerset and Hunterdon counties and was recognized and awarded a $50 gift certificate at the last meeting of the Warren Township Committee by Warren Fire Marshal Al Shjarback and Fire Chief Mark Russo. 

Kotashane is a seventh grade student at Warren Middle School and Shjarback said that she was the unanimous choice of the county fire marshals. 

Kotashane's entry will now go to the state level to be judged against entries from other counties.
