A colorful banner created by art teacher William Axt greeted Woodland students on the 100th day of school on Feb. 18. First grade teachers (and Woodland 100th day organizers) Anita Brower and Dorothy Stolfi counted the students as they entered the school. Fifth grader Nicolas Orsillo was the 100th to arrive; 2nd grader Isabella Appicie arrived 100 students later.

Central first graders in Rachel Bringuier's class celebrated the 100 days with fun-filled 100-themed word and number games that included how they might spend $100, what they might look like at the age of 100 and a race to write 100 words.
