WARREN, NJ - Members of the Warren Township Leo Club donated $200 to the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's Warren Township Library to be used for materials to help people who are sight impaired.
This was the Leo Club's first donation since becoming a chartered Leo club, and members selected their local library as the recipient.
Leo Clubs are a youth organization of Lions Clubs International. The word L E O stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.
The Leo club objective is, "...to provide the youth of the world with an opportunity for development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national and international community."
Leo clubs are sponsored by Lions clubs and comprise an official program of Lions Clubs International. LEO Club is the largest youth club of voluntary character in the world , present in 140 countries with over 160,000 members.
