WARREN, NJ - Warren Township ranks as the 9th safest place to live in New Jersey in 2017, up from 12th last year, according to the SafeWise Report which ranked the 50 safest cities in the Garden State.

In order to compare small and large cities, a crime rate per 1,000 residents was calculated. Warren Township's rate for violent crimes per 1,000 residents was .19. Its rate for property crimes was 3.73 per 1,000.
