WARREN, NJ - The Warren Township School District is offering an integrated preschool program for Warren residents that will include a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old class.
An open house will be held on Dec. 4 at Mount Horeb School
80 Mount Horeb Road from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The program follows the Creative Curriculum for Preschool, which is aligned with the state curriculum standards in order to prepare students for kindergarten.
The program serves children who are typically developing and those with special needs. The curriculum addresses skills and concepts in the following content areas: literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts, and technology.
To be eligible, the following criteria must be met:
Proof of residency in Warren Township and child’s birth certificate
Age 3 by October 1, 2016 for the three year old class
Age 4 by October 1, 2016 for the pre-k class (students eligible for entrance into
kindergarten in September 2016 will not be considered for enrollment in the preschool program).
Applications for September 2016 enrollment will be available during the Open House as well as at the Board of Education Office, 213 Mt. Horeb Road. Completed applications should be returned to the BOE Office no later than January 4, 2016. Students will be selected on a lottery basis.
Classes will be:
3 year old class - 9:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday 4 year old class- 12:30 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday *Busing Available* *Anticipated Tuition is $300 per month*
