WARREN, NJ - The Warren Township Fishing Derby is set for Saturday, May 20.

DERBY INFORMATION:

  1. Arrive at 10:30am. ID’s will be checked at registration table

  2. This is a free event for all Warren residents

  3. Read handout of parent instructions provided

  4. Bring your own fishing poles, hooks, bait, bobbers, chairs, bucket to carry fish

    (some bait, hooks, line and bobbers will be available from the Warren Blue Ridge Sportsmen Club)

  5. The first 100 children receive a hat donated by the Warren PBA #235

  6. Free food & dessert donated by the Warren Blue Ridge Sportsmen Club

  7. Free refreshments donated by Warren Township

  8. Receive raffle ticket for each child - for prizes from the Warren Blue Ridge Sportsmen Club

  9. Go claim your fishing spot. Please leave 3-4 feet between you and your neighbor.

    Please don’t take up more space then you need.

11am gather near the fish truck for a show n tell by the Hackettstown Fish

Hatchery.
As your child catches his/her fish bring it to the fish measurer to record. Throw fish back in asap.

At 2pm winners will be announced and prizes will be handed out. Plus, the raffles will be picked. Remember the ticket we give as you walked in?

DIRECTIONS TO FISHING HOLE (DEALAMAN POND)

  1. For this day only you may park near the pond rather than park on Mt Horeb road and hike the 1⁄4 mile trail to the pond. (do not park at Mt. Horeb parking lot)

  2. On Mt. Bethel Rd turn into Technology Dr. (across from the post office at the light)

  3. Go straight, make a left at the third driveway on the left.
