WARREN, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Warren and the surrounding area Friday evening.

The service warned that the storm was bringing wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour and pea-sized hail.

It recommended moving to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building, and to stay away from windows.
