WATCHUNG, NJ - The doors are officially open on the new Homesense store at The Shoppes at Watchung on Route 22. 

The ribbon was cut by the first customer in line just before 8 a.m. on Thursday morning followed by approximately 50 customers waiting to check out the new store. ( See Brian cut the ribbon here)

Watchung Borough Mayor Keith Balla was on hand to welcome the store to Watchung.

As a part of its grand opening, Homesense presented a check for $10,000 to the Somerset Food Bank.(See video here)



Part of the T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods family, Homesense is a home store "designed to spark your creativity and entice your senses with unexpected styles, and savings that make anything possible."
